Work in Armstrong
Four sites we built for Armstrong and Spallumcheen.

Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce
Association. Member directory rebuilt: 116 businesses, each with its own page instead of one long list.

Fresh Valley Farms
Farm and food brand. Certified organic meat sold online. Shop, pre-order pickups, and farm stays on one site.

Armstrong and District Garden Club
Nonprofit garden club. WordPress and Divi rebuilt as a fast static site. Every post, newsletter, and agenda came across.

North Okanagan Minor Hockey Association
Nonprofit minor hockey. One home for registration, schedules, and sponsors. Volunteers post the updates themselves.
How Armstrong finds you
In a town this size, most customers hear your name first. Then they look you up. The site has one job: confirm what they heard. Your hours, your phone number, what you do, and proof you do it well, all on the first screen of a phone.
What it costs
Template sites from $2,225. Custom builds from $5,940, and most clients land around $12,000. Hosting & Maintenance from $150 a month. Local SEO setup $2,500. Fixed scope, in writing, before you pay a deposit.
Around town
Small town, wide reach.
Few Armstrong businesses sell to Armstrong alone. A farm here sells across the Okanagan. A contractor here works in three other towns. Here is how that changes what gets built.
- Farms and food
- Fresh Valley Farms, a fourth-generation farm in Armstrong, sells certified organic meat online, runs pre-order pickups across the region, and books farm stays, all from one site. A farm store has to handle things a regular store does not, like meat sold by weight and pickup locations.
- Trades and home services
- Contractors here work in Vernon, Enderby, and Spallumcheen too. Customers type the town into the search. A page for each town you serve gives Google a reason to show you in that town.
- Clubs and associations
- The Chamber, the Garden Club, and minor hockey all run on volunteers. Their sites have to stay current without a web person on call. The Garden Club site works out its own meeting dates, and NOMHA volunteers post their own updates.
- Spallumcheen
- The township wraps around the city, and plenty of farms and contractors have a Spallumcheen address. To most customers, that is still an Armstrong business. Name both on the site, and a search for either one can find you.
In Vernon or Coldstream? The Vernon page covers that market. Up in the Shuswap? The Salmon Arm page covers that one.
Local SEO
Found first in Armstrong.
A small market is a winnable market. Fewer businesses compete for each search, so the basics go further here than they do in Vernon or Kelowna.
The basics are three things. A Google Business Profile that is complete and correct. A website page that names Armstrong and the towns around it. And the same name, address, and phone number everywhere your business is listed.
Two listings here cost nothing. Chamber members have their own page in the member directory we built, so check that it links to your site. And Armstrong Local, a community hub we built, has a business directory where no business pays to be listed.
Tracking goes in at the same time, so you see the calls and form fills, not just a ranking. A ranking is a hint. A call is the business.
Local SEO setup is $2,500 and takes four weeks. The ongoing retainer is $1,500 a month with a six month minimum. See what is in each.
Questions
From business owners in Armstrong.
- Where is your office?
- In the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce space at the Odd Fellows Hall, 3005 Wood Avenue. We meet by appointment, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., there or at your business. Most project work happens over email and video, because that fits around a working day.
- Is Armstrong too small for local SEO?
- No. A smaller market means fewer businesses compete for the same search. A complete Google Business Profile, a page that names the towns you serve, and steady reviews do most of the work. A profile can start moving in weeks. A page takes months.
- Do you build sites for farms?
- Yes. Fresh Valley Farms sells certified organic meat online, with pre-order pickups and farm stays, from a site we built. We also work with farm store platforms like GrazeCart and Local Line.
- What does a site cost?
- Template sites start at $2,225. Custom builds start at $5,940 and most clients land around $12,000. Local SEO setup is $2,500. Hosting & Maintenance is from $150 a month. Every number is on the pricing page, including the payment schedule.
- Do you only work with Armstrong businesses?
- No. Most of our clients are in western North America, from Vancouver to Revelstoke, through the Shuswap and the Okanagan Valley, and south to California. Projects outside the valley run by video call, with the same process and the same prices.
