Nonprofit garden club
Armstrong and District Garden Club
The Armstrong and District Garden Club has met in Armstrong since 1927. Its old site ran on WordPress and Divi, and keeping meeting dates current fell to whichever volunteer had time. We built the new site as one of the nonprofit sites we build and look after at no charge.
Built on
Moved off
What was built
- Full rebuild from WordPress and Divi to a fast static site
- 30 news posts, 43 newsletters, and 22 meeting agendas moved across
- Old addresses redirected, so existing links still work
- Meeting dates and the plant sale date worked out by the site, so they never go stale
- Club facts kept in one place, so changing the meeting time is one edit
- Newsletter and agenda archive with site search
- Member nursery discounts and a join page
The outcome
The dates on the site update themselves, and every newsletter sits in one archive anyone can search.
